Gender Selection Resources

No matter whether you want a baby boy, or a baby girl, the process is the same. You really need to do three things (in my own opinion, I'm by no means an expert but this is what worked for me according to research. I also can not make any guarantees. If you have any questions about this, read my terms of service and affiliate disclosures):

1. Accurately predict ovulation and conceive at very specific times to significantly increase the chances of fetilizing the egg with the desired gender of sperm. (For girls, this is well before ovulation. With boys, it is close to the specific day. There is extremely little room for error here.

2. Create a PH environment that is friendly to the desired gender's sperm. You do this with food and / or safe douching.

3. Conceive via sexual positions that position the desired gender's sperm at either shallow penetration (for girls) and more deep penetration (for boys).

These are a gross oversimplification as every couple has different and has different circumstance, but this is the basic idea. I got the gender I wanted at the time I wanted them because I researched diligently and came up with a viable plan. I could not afford the thousands of dollars and up it would've taken for gender selection at a clinic, but I was determined to make it work. Here are the natural gender selection resources I believe were vital to my success.

1. There are two ebooks that I really liked. They are very similar in that they will tell you how to manipulate the three variables mentioned earlier to your advantage. However, they differ slightly in how they instruct you to manipulate your PH. One offers the douche recipes that clinics typically charge for. The other relies more on foods to alter PH. So, which you prefer completely depends on whether you would rather douche or restrict your diet or both. I went the douching route, because testing via PH strips told me I was very acidic and I knew I needed to make pretty drastic changes. I was not sure food would do the trick.

The book with the clinic douche recipe is called "Pick Your Baby's Gender" by Rebecca Washburn. This book is 75 pages of very good information. It is based on hard scientific facts. You won't find any Chinese calendars or herbs in this one. It's very logical and based on scientific research. It takes the best of all of the "expert" methods, but customizes them to each couple. It's bar none my favorite.

If you're opposed to douching, a really good alternative is Ashley Spenser's "Chose The Gender Of Your Baby". Her method is very similar to Washburn's, but she relies on lots of food alterations to alter and adjust your PH. Mrs. Spenser used to give $250 seminars on gender selection, but it was interfering too much with family time, so she decided to write her book to get the word out. (Affiliate Disclosures)

2. Since you REALLY need to know your ovulation with razor accuracy, I HIGHLY recomend a saliva ovulation predictor. In my experience, these are so much more cost effective and accurate than the urine tests. Saliva is extremely accurate (think DNA tests) and you can use these tests over and over again. They are pretty cheap (about $30). You buy them once and you're set.

3. I really believe that altering your PH is probably the most important variable in natural gender selection. For this reason, I chose to regularly test mine with PH strips. This is just a simple urine test that will tell you where you are. The ebooks mentioned previously will tell you where you need to be for the gender you want. You can usually find the PH strips at a health food specialty store.

Finally, I found that drinking ALOT of water really helped with my PH. From everything I've read, you really don't want to take any supplements, cleanses, or anything to alter your hormones, but drinking water can really help. I had a huge PH swing once I started drinking 10 glasses per day. Good luck. I believe any one can do this. I am living proof that you don't need thousands of dollars. Just a little determination and a very viable plan.
